Luphen® D 259 U is a polymer dispersion used in the manufacture of laminating adhesives. The aqueous dispersion of a polyether polyurethane elastomer adheres well to plastics used in laminates. Adding a water-dispersible polyisocyanate increases its resistance to heat and moisture, impacting the potlife of the adhesive based on the reactivity of the polyisocyanate used.
