RheovisĀ® PU 1214 is a polyurethane-based associative thickener, a non-ionic rheology additive for aqueous systems with low shear thinning. It is designed to improve the application and hiding properties of emulsion paints and adhesives, offering superior hiding power in brush application and minimal roller spatter. Additionally, it provides excellent flow-promoting properties, very good scrub and scuff resistances, and low shear thinning. Its chemical nature is a polyurethane polymer in water/butoxytriglycol.
