- Melting
- The wax may be melted at about 70°C to incorporate colors, fragrances and other waxs. Higher temperatures are permissible but heating the wax above 90°C for prolonged periods is not recommended and may cause diskolouration.
- Pouring
- The ideal pouring temperature will depend on the size of the candle, the ambient temperature and the other ingredients used; as an indication, pour at 50-55°C for a 200g / 8cm candle, when the container and surroundings are at 20°C.
- Curing
- The candle should be allowed to cool and cure for at least 12 hours before burning, preferably in a temperature- controlled environment.

Storage & Handling

- Storage Conditions
- For ease of use, store at 10-20°C. Protect from extreme heat and cold; prolonged storage at temperatures over 30°C or under 5°C should be avoided.
- Shelf life - 18 months from date of pack, for unopened boxes stored cool, dry and out of direct sunlight. Re-testing towards the end of the anticipated shelf-life may permit it to be extended. Please request assistance if this is required.
