Features & Benefits

Advantages
  • Melting
    • The wax may be melted at about 70°C to incorporate colors, fragrances and other waxs. Higher temperatures are permissible but heating the wax above 90°C for prolonged periods is not recommended and may cause diskolouration.
  • Pouring
    • The ideal pouring temperature will depend on the size of the candle, the ambient temperature and the other ingredients used; as an indication, pour at 50-55°C for a 200g / 8cm candle, when the container and surroundings are at 20°C.
  • Curing
    • The candle should be allowed to cool and cure for at least 12 hours before burning, preferably in a temperature- controlled environment.
