Cargill Plus 12130 is a pregelatinized corn starch in the form of a white, free-flowing powder. It rapidly disperses and offers maximum reduction in fluid loss, moderately high viscosity, and superior downhole temperature stability compared to conventional pregelatinized cereal starches for drilling fluid applications. It is utilized to lower fluid loss in salt and lime muds.
