Features & Benefits

Functionality

Charge +® 34D starch is an acid-thinned waxy maize cationic corn starch developed for use in surface applications on paper and packaging grades. Charge +® 34D has excellent film forming and water holding properties which result in improved surface strength and printability. Since Charge +® 34D is slightly cationic, the starch will be retained on the fiber during repulping thus reducing BOD in mill effluent. It has a defoamer added.
