Cargill Waxy Pearl (04251) is an unmodified starch derived from waxy maize corn. It serves as a coupling agent, adhesion promoter, and binder. Waxy Pearl is readily dispersed in water and can be slurred into solids. It has the flexibility to be thermally-chemically converted or enzyme-converted, with the possibility of the in-house addition of a buffer for specific applications.
