Applications & Uses
- Markets
- Application Method
- Uses
- MMR Restoration Cleaner is an alkaline, ambient temperature cleaner designed to remove mold, mildew, algae, moss, dirt, grease, black streaks, and many other biological deposits from new and existing surfaces.
- MMR can be used on most porous masonry, concrete and natural stone surfaces. Coverage rates vary from 50-300 sq. ft. per gallon, depending on surface porosity and texture.
- Usage
- For use on: Brick, Concrete, Tile, Grout, Marble, Granite, Travertine, Limestone, Sandstone, Slate, Stucco, and Wood surfaces.
- Preparation
- MMR Restoration Cleaner should be applied when surface and air temperatures are 40° F (4° C) or above. If freezing has occurred, allow the surface to thaw completely before application.
- Applications
- Perform a test area on the required surface(s) to determine product effectiveness and coverage rates.
- Apply with a low pressure sprayer (50 psi maximum), hand pump sprayer, or electric applicator pump working from the bottom-up. Full saturate surface with cleaner.
- Let product work on the surface for 5-10 minutes. Keep surface wet, apply more cleaner as necessary.
- Heavy contaminants may require a second application and or agitation scrubbing with a brush.
- Flush all primary and adjacent surfaces with fresh water. For optimal results, rinsing with high pressure water (500-1000 psi, fan type tip) will make the job both easier and faster. Use appropriate consideration when cleaning historical or pressure sensitive surfaces.
- Reapply as needed following steps 1-4.
- Limitations
- Overspray can be harmful to metallic surfaces if in contact over a long period of time. Always rinse adjacent surfaces thoroughly with fresh water after each application.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Coverage Rates
- Always test. Coverage rates will vary depending on surface texture, porosity and level of contamination. Generally, one gallon of material will treat between 50 and 300 square feet.
- Test
- In an inconspicuous area to determine the suitability of this product for the intended use.
- Long Term Protection
- To protect newly restored surfaces, complete the restoration process with a Chemical Products water repellent/sealer. This will retard the growth of biological damage and protect the surface from the damages of water intrusion.
