Technical Details & Test Data

Solution Preparation
GlucoStar 1030N readily solubilizes in water. The flake form of GlucoStar 1030N makes it easy to disperse and solubilize in water with minimal agitation without the formation of lumps. Maintain agitation for a period of about 30 minutes to ensure complete hydration of the flake particle. The character and amount of agitation required will vary with solids concentration of the polymer and water temperature. High solids and cold water make-up may necessitate longer agitation time.
Solution Preservation
GlucoStar 1030N is not treated with a preservative. Extended storage of GlucoStar 1030N solutions could result in viscosity reduction due to microbial or enzymatic attack and should be protected by the use of a preservative
Packaging & Availability

- Availability
GlucoStar 1030N is available in 44 lb multi-wall poly-lined paper bags and 2,000 lb supersacks for truckload and LTL shipments.
Storage & Handling
- Storage And Handling
Because of the hygroscopic nature of GlucoStar 1030N, it is highly recommended that the material be stored in its original package in a dry facility. Shelf life can be affected by storage conditions such as temperature, humidity and overall surroundings of the storage area. Long-term storage may lead to hardening of the material within the bag.
