Driven by a desire to create a protein that essentially helps feed the world while benefiting consumers and food manufacturers, Professor Ram Reifen founded ChickP at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. While studying it, Prof. Reifen came to understand that chickpea, the popular legume that is so readily available in developing countries, and has been known and consumed for more than 3000 years  and has great potential for solving the challenge of how to feed the growing world, and can be a good starting point to answering consumers and industry needs: it is a green and sustainable crop, non-GMO & non-allergenic.

Our team of experts developed a breakthrough IP-protected technology,

that sets a new standard for protein isolate. Thanks to our unique process, we are the first and only company in the world to offer Next-Gen chickpea protein isolate.
