PLASTI-GRIT® TYPE III: MELAMINE is a thermoset Melamine Formaldehyde, meets the specifications of Mil-P-85891A. The finished product contains no inorganic fillers and is treated with an anti-static agent. Melamine is commonly used as an abrasive, blast media & filler. Type III is the hardest, most aggressive grade of plastic media. Melamine is effective for mold cleaning, deflashing, removing tough paints & primers, and cleaning grit & grime from engines, turbines and parts.

PLASTI-GRIT® TYPE VI: CLEAR-CUT® is a light-weight thermoset Poly Allyl DiGlycol Carbonate, meets the requirements for a Type VI Grade A media as specified in MIL-P-85891A. The finished product contains no inorganic fillers and is treated with an anti-static agent. Type VI is commonly used as an abrasive, blast media, non-skid media, additive in paint & epoxies, and filler applications.
