AFCONA – 2590E is a pre-emulsification water based silicone defoamer. It can be easily prepared to water-born coating systems. It also can easily move to the surface and destroy the surface air - bubbles in high viscosity systems. It is also suit for airless spray and roller to destroy small blisters.
AFCONA – 2590E is recommended for below systems:
- All water-based industrial paints.
- Water-based inks.
- Water-based pigment concentrates.
- Incorporation
- AFCONA-2590E can be added at any stage during the production process. And shear force dispersing is needed.
- Addition and Dosage
- 0.1 - 2.0% on total formulation. In general at normal condition, the dosage is 0.2 - 1.0%. formulation with pigment, the dosage is 0.3 - 0.8%.

- AFCONA-2590E should be stored in a cool and dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up for 2 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
