AFCONA-7200 is recommended for unsaturated polyester, PVC, epoxy, and polyurethane resin systems. AFCONA-7200 is a very strong defoamer. It is not suitable for unpigmented/clear systems because of the risk of causing haziness. Adding AFCONA-7200 to the resin may cause in-can haziness. However, this has a negligible effect on final gloss and will not influence other properties of the system. In many high viscosity systems, AFCONA-7200 is effective when other defoamers do not show sufficient performance. For very difficult systems, we recommend to use AFCONA-7201 in combination with AFCONA - 7202 or AFCONA-7203 for better performance.
Note: AFCONA -7200 may become slightly hazy at temperatures below 5° C. This will not impact the performance or quality of the product.

- Incorporation
AFCONA-7200 can be added to the pre-mix or after mixing. However, it is recommended to use in pre-mix for homogenous incorpo rate. If added after mixing stage, homogenous mixing should be ensured.

AFCONA-7200 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
