AFCONA – 2721 is a defoamer with good defoaming properties and good compatibility. This product is tailor-made for UV coatings as the solvent used is active and can react into the system.

AFCONA-2721 can be used in pigmented or non-pigmented resin systems such as:

  1. UV-cure
  2. EBC

AFCONA – 2721 will not contribute much haziness to the system and has good compatibility.

Incorporation
AFCONA-2721 may be incorporated by simple mixing. A homogeneous mix will increase the efficiency.
Addition and Dosage
Add AFCONA-2721 at 0.1-1.0% calculated on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.2 - 0.5% based on total formulation is sufficient.
