- Mechanism of Action
- DeCAL 9090 accelerates setting times and increases early strength through faster activation of the hydration process in Portland, HAC and CSA cement phases. It is compatible with all types of hydraulic binders and all types of additives.
- DeCAL 9090 has a significant benefit over lithium accelerators as it reacts with the Portland, HAC and CSA elements of a cement mix. High alkali salt-based accelerators only react with the HAC and CSA elements.
- DeCAL 9090 is effective in the majority of applications, however in the presence of low temperatures or where even higher early strength is desired DeCAL 9095 is recommended due to its higher active content.
