- Applications
- Luzenac® R7 is used for reinforcement of plastics mainly in engineering thermoplastics where it significantly improves dispersion and impact resistance of the final compounds, and in polyolefin compounds (especially polypropylene and TPOs) where it improves scratch and mar resistance of talc-filled compounds without negatively impacting stiffness and other mechanical properties of the compound. The use of Luzenac® R7 could also results in improvements in brightness and thermal stability of plastic compounds.
