Features & Benefits

MINBLOC® MC Features and Benefits
  • MINBLOC® MC possesses an ideal natural crystal size of two micron for a mineral antiblock. This, combined with the easy friability of larger particulate agglomerations promotes good dispersion in the resin and leads to its excellent antiblocking efficiency.
  • The relatively low surface area of MINBLOC® MC enhances the effectiveness of process additives by minimizing the absorptive losses.
  • Due to its high purity and general inertness, MINBLOC® is an excellent candidate for incorporation in medical device films and pharmaceutical packaging applications.
  • Proprietary classification equipment ensures that the desired particle size distributions will be delivered without the risk of excessive coarse or ultra fine particulate content. Four commercial grades designed for thin and medium thickness films are now commercially available. Special grades are available upon request.
  • All MINBLOC® MC grades are produced with rigid adherence to SPC, QIPSM and/or ISO 2000 quality assurance programs. The result is chemical purity and consistent particle size distributions for predictable results and reliable service.
