- PerformaSil® 300 Water-based Roof Coating provides all the benefits of a silicone coating, but in a water-based form. PerformaSil® 300 Silicone Water-Based Elastomer will attain full adhesion and physical properties in 7 to 14 days depending on environmental conditions.
- The physical properties, compared to most conventional solvent-based or high solids silicone coatings, provides superior resistance to mechanical damage.
- As with any product, use of PerformaSil® 300 Silicone Water-Based Elastomer in any given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Elastomeric roof coatings
- Application
- Substrate preparation: Roof must be clean and dry with no trapped moisture. Repair damaged membrane, flashings, and penetrations. Conduct test patches to verify adhesion of coating prior to start of work. Priming of substrate may be required.
- Mixing: Mix uniformly for 5 minutes prior to use. Some settling of material may have occurred during shipment and storage. Take care not to incorporate air into the product.
- Application: Apply by brush, roller, or airless sprayer evenly. Do not apply more than 1.5 gallons per 100 ft² in a single coat. Apply additional coats perpendicular to the previous coat once it is dry enough to walk on.
- Application temperature: 50 - 110°F. Cool temperatures/high humidity may slow curing. Do not apply if rain, heavy moisture, or freezing temperatures are in the 24-hour forecast to ensure proper cure.
