Talcoliva TF is a high-purity, platy talc. When added to the olive paste at the mixing stage, Talcoliva TF does the following: Absorbs the droplets of oil retained in the cell walls, thus forming larger drops and increasing the amount of free oil. Prevents the formation of emulsions and breaks up emulsions that have already been formed. Facilitates the break-up of microgels. Improves the oil extraction yield. Increases plant production capacity. Enables the oil-extraction process to be run at a lower temperature (20° - 25°C). Improves oil clarity during the horizontal centrifugation stage by sweeping the fine particles from the oil ring for removal with the pomace.
