DeCAL 4201 is an acrylic binder ideally suited for use in water-based flexographic inks. The product exists as an alkali-soluble carboxylated copolymer emulsion but can also be supplied in its neutralized varnish form as DeCAL 4202. Inks prepared using DeCAL 4201 possess excellent machine stability/resolubility, viscosity/pH stability, favorable viscosity/dilution curves, and excellent pigment wetting characteristics.

DCL 1146 Naphthol Red, PR.146 is a blue-shaded, semi-transparent naphthol red with good overall fastness properties. This pigment is a possible alternative to pigment red 57:1 types where an improvement in fastness properties is needed. It is mainly used in various types of coatings, inks, and papers.

DCL 2188 Naphthol Red, PR.188 is a bright, yellow-shaded naphthol red with good flow properties, bleed resistance, lightfastness, and weather fastness. It is recommended for higher-grade exterior industrial paints, exterior trade sales coatings, colorant systems for in-plant tinting or machine colorants, printing inks, mass coloration of paper, paper surface coating, paper pulp coloration, wax crayons, and inks for wallpaper use. It is also recommended for use in plastics.

Nicron® 403 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The lamellar nature of Nicron® 403 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers and topcoats to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 403 is also used in paints to improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension. Nicron® 403 is used in solid-color and semi-transparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics.

Mistron® Vapor R is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. Mistron® Vapor R is designed for use in thermoset rubber, coatings, and adhesive and sealant formulations. Mistron® Vapor R balances reinforcement with processability, providing lower compound viscosity, improving extrusion quality and rate, and reducing die swell and nerve. Mistron® Vapor R improves impermeability, swell resistance, and the aging properties of thermoset rubber compounds. In coatings, Mistron® Vapor R also enhances final film performance by increasing tensile strength and flexibility. Mistron® Vapor R has a platy, hydrophobic characteristic which improves barrier properties, corrosion resistance and stain blocking ability.

JetFil® M400 is a high-purity, platy, medium-size talc recommended for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in polymer applications. It is used in polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, and other plastic-based applications to achieve maximum stiffness at loading levels of up to 40% or higher. JetFil® M400 is available in densified form to improve feeding, enhance extrusion throughput, and reduce dusting.

JetFil® 700C is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy, ultrafine talc with excellent top-size control that is recommended for excellent stiffness, HDT and dimensional stability, impact strength, and esthetics in high-performance plastics. It is also ideal for the nucleation of semi-crystalline plastics, plastic films, and foamed plastics. It is compacted for maximum extruder throughput, minimum dust, and improved dispersion.

Nicron® 660 is an off-white, platy, high-purity, very fine talc, which is primarily used in paints and coatings. Nicron® 660 has excellent flatting characteristics, superior anti-settling properties, and is the product of choice in gel-coats. Nicron® 660 is used in rubber, wire, cable, and plastic applications.

Vertal® 202 is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment. Vertal® 202 provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), flatting efficiency, film reinforcement, anti-cracking, and barrier properties for architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 202 is recommended for architectural flat latex paints, contractor-grade flat latex paints, and high%PVC applications that require a brighter, 2-hegman, lamellar mineral pigment.
