Dar-Tech Hauthane L-3645 is a NMP- and TEA-free, aliphatic, silicone-modified, polyester-based, waterborne polyurethane dispersion. It was designed primarily for topcoat applications where slip resistance and abrasion resistance are required. L-3645 contains a non-fugitive silicone component that provides low surface tension characteristics on flexible and rigid substrates, including leather, plastics, metals, and textiles. It also demonstrates exceptional dye transfer resistance in automotive leather seating and dry-erase white board applications when crosslinked.

DeCAL 5030 is designed to release bubbles and control foam generated in a wide range of aqueous systems containing surfactants. The product exists as an alkali-soluble carboxylated copolymer emulsion but can also be supplied in its neutralized varnish form as DeCAL 4202. Inks prepared using DeCAL 4201 possess excellent machine stability/resolubility, viscosity/pH stability, favorable viscosity/dilution curves, and excellent pigment wetting characteristics.

DeCAL 5018 is an excellent foam control agent for many aqueous systems, including water-based paints, adhesives, and polymer latex systems. It contains mineral oil, silica, and surfactants. DeCAL 5018 is used very successfully in water-based paints, paper coatings, polymer latices, and adhesives. It is effective over a wide range of pH and temperatures. In emulsion paint systems, we recommend adding half to the pigment grind and the balance to the final blending.
