- Directions for Use
- Caustic CIP is designed for use at 0.25 - 2% concentration in water depending on equipment, soil, and water conditions.
- For heavy soil conditions in high temperature applications, use 1 - 2% in hot (145 - 185°F) water and circulate for 30 - 60 minutes. Do not let solution temperature drop below 120°F.
- Add 1/2 oz of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite bleach per gallon to the Caustic CIP use dilution to create a chlorinated alkaline CIP detergent.
Caustic CIP will work in hard or soft water. Minor adjustments of the air pressure can result in large changes to the foam characteristics.
