Directions for Use

Dishwasher:

• Drain and fill with clean water and add DLC
  • Low temperature dishwasher: Add 8 oz.
  • High temperature dishwasher: Add 32 oz.
• Follow dishwasher manufacturer manual for de-liming procedures

Humidifier:

• Turn off electricity and water if connected to supply line
• Drain unit and remove loose lime scale from reservoir and parts to be de-limed
• Soak removable parts in 1 part DLC and 5 parts water; swab solution on other parts until foaming action subsides
• De-lime reservoir by placing 16 ounces (2 cups) of DLC in 2 gallons water in reservoir; let stand until foaming action stops
• Note: Not recommended on aluminum

Humidifier Additive: 

• Add 1 ounce DLC to 4 gallons of water in reservoir daily to prevent rapid scale buildup

Dehumidifier:

• Add 4 ounces DLC per 1 gallon of circulation water
• Run water circulating pump until lime deposits dissolve (15 - 30 minutes)
• DRAIN THOROUGHLY
• Flush thoroughly
• No rinse is required on stainless steel parts

Removal of surface rust and mineral scale: 

• Add 4 ounces DLC per 1 gallon of water
• Apply (spray or with sponge) product evenly to surface metal
• Let stand (5 - 10 minutes)
• Rinse surface with pressure washer or similar water source
• Buff or dry to desired luster

De-Lime Concentrate (DLC) does not contain any nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) and therefore is better for the environment and faces fewer regulatory restrictions and environmental implications than similar NPE-containing products.
