- Powder Descaler contains citric acid, a buffer, and quaternary ammonium chloride.

- Directions for Use
- Dilute 4 pounds (1.8 kg) of this product in 100 gallons (379 L) of water and circulate over evaporative cooling pads with a spray system. This dilution is 0.5% by weight of the product.
- After seven days of operation, dump and replace with a fresh solution.
- Gently brush dirt and other debris off of dry pads.
- Flush systems with water, check for proper flow, and fix leaks. Clear all plugged headers.
- Circulate the 0.5% (by weight) solution of Powder Descaler for one week.
- Dump entire contents reservoir system and rinse away any sediment.
- Product Uses
- Powder Descaler is a concentrated, powder cooling pad descaler that treats evaporative cooling water and removes mineral scale from evaporative cooling pads. When used according to directions, this product will remove all types of mineral scales without harming professional-grade evaporative cooling pads.
- This product also decreases the need to clean headers and nozzles that can become plugged with minerals.
- This product will work in hard or soft water.

Powder Descaler does not contain any nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) or phosphates. It is better for the environment and is subject to fewer regulatory restrictions than NPE or phosphate containing products.
