Deolink MX is best dosed into the internal mixer together with the filler at elevated temperatures of about 120 - 160 °C to improve the physical properties of compounds with white fillers crosslinked by sulfur. The incorporation in a PE-wax enables an optimal protection of the active silane against humidity.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Behavior and Effects
Deolink MX is an alternative to mercaptosilanes which often cannot be used because of their unpleasant smell. The mercaptosilane present in Deolink MX is set free from the carrier during the mixing process. Because of its bifunctionallity it forms a chemical bond between the rubber molecule and the silica filler at cure temperature.
