Recommended Applications
  • KOSMOS® 33 is a low viscosity, highly efficient standard trimerization catalyst for laminated rigid insulation panels.
  • KOSMOS® 33 is a suitable co-catalyst in PUR formulations for improved curing. KOSMOS® 33 should always be used in conjunction with a suitable amine co-catalyst from the DABCO® and/or POLYCAT® range.
  • KOSMOS® 33 can be used alone or in conjunction with other trimerization catalysts such as the products of the DABCO® TMR series for improved reaction profiles and better surface cure.
  • KOSMOS® 33 and amine co-catalyst should not be pre-blended as it might lead to incompatibilities.
  • Separate dosing and/or blending into the polyol is preferred.
  • The optimal concentration will depend on specifics of the formulation.
