VESTAMID® X7167 NC is a high-quality polyamide 12 (PA12) compound formulated for exceptional heat stability and flame retardancy. This compound incorporates a non-migrating flame retardant that is free of halogens and phosphorous, making it an ideal choice for interior parts in aircraft, railways, and ships. VESTAMID® X7167 NC meets the stringent requirements of FAR 25.853 or ABD 0031, ensuring compliance and safety in these demanding applications. This versatile resin can be processed through extrusion or injection molding methods. However, it is important to note that the melt temperature should not exceed 260 °C to maintain the effectiveness of the flame retardant. We recommend melt temperatures within the range of 210–230 °C for optimal performance. VESTAMID® X7167 NC is conveniently supplied as cylindrical pellets, packaged in moisture-proof bags, ready for immediate use.
