Unlike typical PLA, which is often used for disposable items, Floreon's technology converts it into an exceptionally durable, high-performance material suitable for a wide range of applications. These include automotive, rail, marine, and aviation components, electrical and electronic parts, building and construction, toys, medical, sporting and safety equipment.  Floreon® engineered plant-based polymers are designed as a sustainable drop-in replacement for fossil-based styrenic polymers like ABS, PC-ABS, and HIPS. They offer up to seven times lower carbon footprint while matching or even exceeding the physical and mechanical performance of their fossil-based counterparts. Additional benefits include reduced scope 2 and 3 emissions due to lower processing temperatures and the potential to reduce wall thickness and overall part weight without compromising structural integrity. Floreon® biopolymers are versatile and can be used in injection moulding, sheet &amp; profile extrusion, 3D print filament manufacturing, films &amp; fibres, thermo/vacuum forming and even in foaming applications. Floreon Bio Tech Compostable Grade is intended for injection molded applications, with high rigidity and good impact strength. The material is a compound of polylactic acid (PLA) and other biodegradable polyesters which enhance the melt flow rate and toughness of the material.

Floreon Bio Tech Compostable Grade

Floreon Dura Tech Durable Grade is a PLA based compound intended for durable applications requiring high impact resistance, whilst also retaining a high renewable content which can be certified to recognized criteria. The material is recyclable and is not intended for applications that are compostable.

Floreon Dura Tech Durable Grade

Floreon Therma Tech Flame Retarded Grade is a PLA based compound intended for durable applications requiring flame retardancy. This developmental grade contains a flame retardant, impact modifier, nucleating agent. The material is based on PLA and is designed as a drop in replacement for ABS in injection molding, extrusion and 3D printing. Drying of the material is recommended to ensure melt stability and limit degradation of the material during processing.
