Chemiton® Flex is based on TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer) are particularly suitable for food contact, fatty and oily food. The available grades for food contact, indeed, show a better resistance to oil, fat and hydrocarbon in comparison to traditional compounds based on HSBC.

Greenplay® Regular is an ecological TPE infill for synthetic turf, used for the realization of pitches and sport facilities installed with artificial grass. Greenplay is a SEBS polymer, produced with virgin raw materials; it is a round shape granule, free from dust and smell.

Franplast Cyclohexanone gluing is a transparent TPE compound which has a good compatibility with cyclohexanone solvent. Joining of plastic composites is a common practice in the medical industry. Big amounts of medical disposable products are assembled using plastic joining solvent, and the most used solvent is cyclohexanone. For this reason, our new “Chemiton Med TMB for cyclohexanone gluing” is the right choice for the production of lightweight and clean looking joints.

Franplast Fatty food USP Cl. VI is the new crystal clear TPE compound, based on SEBS, suitable for contact with fatty food in accordance with the European Regulations. It is completely compliant with 10/2011/EU and also 1907/2006/CE, ROHS, RAEE, WEEE, ELV, EN71/3. This innovative compound is characterized by an extremely low migration level, when in contact with simulant D2 (olive oil). Chemiton for fatty food can be processed with conventional plastic processing technology such as injection molding and extrusion. Other important features are the extremely high resistance to alcohols and the sterilization by steam-autoclave.

Chemiton® Life is the first biobased TPE produced by Franplast. The commitment to environment and life protection has brought us to develop new materials from renewable resources, which are good alternatives to fossil-based materials. Chemiton Life® is the result of a carefully raw materials selection and challenging development job.

Franplast Gray std. USP Cl. VI offers the gray colored medical TPE USP Cl. VI compound, used principally for pierceable pharmaceutical single use closures. Characterized by an optimal resealing, it’s compliant with USP class VI, ISO 10993 and food contact regulations (10/2011/CE e FDA 21).

Franplast Translucent USP Cl. VI is translucent SEPS based compound, perfect for medical applications. Without PVC and latex, biocompatible and without phthalates, it is a transparent and soft thermoplastic rubber, which represents an optimum alternative to silicone. It can be used for the realization of various soft touch components for medical use as injection ports, twist off closures, connectors, tubes for peristaltic pumps, joints, stoppers, gaskets, valves and membranes.

Franplast Special grade for film blowing is a TPE compound based on SEBS specially developed for film blowing of elastic films with layers of less than 100 μm (up to 50 μm). The opal/translucent compound can be enriched with gliding/release anti-blocking agents. Process setting and color methods are equivalent to PE film blowing. Our Chemiton for film is suitable for the production of elastic single-layer film for surgical drapes. We can also offer grades for improving the features of adhesive film in PE, especially for applications connected with baby and personal care (diaper and adult diapers).

Chemiton® XT is classifying the series of products based on SEBS especially for extrusion and co-extrusion. Chemiton® XT compounds ensure the production of extruded parts with exceptional flexibility, resistance to high and low temperatures and various levels of insulation. There are also crystal clear grades available which are completely plasticizer- free and with excellent UV and ozone resistance.
