"For more than 20 years, Haufler Composites has been offering a comprehensive product range of fabrics, prepreg, epoxy resins and process materials for the manufacture of high-quality fiber composite components. In addition to carbon fabrics for design, industry and aviation applications, Haufler Composites supplies glass fabrics and aramid fabrics for composite components. At Haufler Composites, all materials required for the production of fiber composite components can be obtained directly from a single source.

In addition, Haufler Composites produces carbon fiber reinforced semi-finished panels and technical components. The carbon plates are produced project-specifically. Fiber orientation, fiber type (e.g. HT - carbon fiber or HM - carbon fiber) and strengths of the semi-finished products can be selected to suit the respective application and, if desired, can also be supplied as ready-to-install CNC-machined components. Haufler Composites is a self-financed, owner-managed family business in Blaubeuren, specializing in carbon and fiber composite materials.

Haufler Composites was founded in 1997. At the beginning the focus was on the sale of plastic reinforcement materials such as carbon and glass fiber semi-finished products. From 2002, the sale of fiber composite materials was supplemented by the in-house production of CFRP plates (carbon plates) and CFRP components made from them.


Since then, there has been a constant expansion of our own manufacturing processes, production and storage areas and machinery. Likewise, the product range in the field of reinforcement fibers and processing materials has been steadily expanded over the years, so that today we work with a worldwide network of reliable suppliers and customers.
The constant technical development of our products is guaranteed by the expansion of the machine park, the process chains, the team of employees and by training. We are also ISO 9001 certified."

Chemlease

Chemlease® MPP are adhesion promoters and mold primers for plastic and metal molds, suitable e.g. for substrates made of polyester (gelcoat and non-gelcoat processes), epoxy or phenolic resin. MPP are very good pore fillers, but do not replace the use of release agents. Using it without a release agent can lead to significant damage to the tool. MPP products are also used to repair and refresh stressed mold surfaces. Chemlease® Release Agents (all) should be applied to primers only after curing. Spray application is mostly used for new (green) shapes, touch-ups are done manually wipe on / leave on or wipe on / wipe off.

Chemlease® LFC 2208W supports the demands for rapid prototyping because it cures at room temperature in minutes, permitting a quick and simple approach to sealing masters, plugs, patterns, low volume and splash molds. Chemlease® LFC 2208W provides a uniform surface, replacing polyester or epoxy fillers and reducing the overall cost of prototyping.

Chemlease® 15 Sealer EZ is a mold sealer for conditioning and sealing porous or damaged molds. Chemlease® 15 Sealer EZ can also be used as a primer for new or refurbished molds.

Chemlease® Sealer 2766W is a water-based sealer designed to treat both the chemical and physical bonding sites found on every mold surface. Chemlease® Sealer 2766W delivers a durable film with superior abrasion resistance. Chemlease® Sealer 2766W eliminates the break-in time for new molds and reduces mold down time by extending the number of releases between cleaning cycles. When applied in conjunction with the appropriate semi-permanent release agent, Chemlease® Sealer 2766W provides multiple, effortless releases.

Chemlease® Sealer was developed as a base coat for the application of release agents. Chemlease® Sealer seal microporous structures and support the separating effect of the release agent.

Chemlease® MPP 2684W has been formulated to seal molds and tooling in the composites sector, both FRP and advanced composites. It is suitable as a mold sealer and adhesion promoter for plastic and metal molds, including substrates made of polyester and vinyl ester (gelcoat and non-gelcoat processes), epoxy or phenolic resin, BMI, PU and most metals. Chemlease® MPP 2684W is an excellent sealer but cannot be used as a release agent. Using Chemlease® MPP 2684W without a suitable mold release agent may damage the mold.

Chemlease® Sealer 2697 is a solvent based semi-permanent mold sealer for the composites industry that allows for easy application. The product should be applied very thinly to the mold surface. When hardening, the sealer forms a non-porous layer that is firmly bonded to the surface of the mold, the quality of the mold and the degree of gloss remain unchanged.
