Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a multi-year herb of the Lamiaceae Melissa genus. It is native to Russia and Central Asian countries, from Iran to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic coast. Cultivated by Chinese folk. Lemon Balm mainly uses fresh leaves. The leaves are harvested before flowering.
