IdaPro Milk Permeate Powder (MPP) is manufactured from fresh, pasteurized skim milk using a proven low-heat membrane filtration process. This process of ultra-filtration effectively separates the carbohydrate and protein fractions along with the water soluble nutrients such as minerals and vitamins which flow into the milk permeate powder product. Unlike whey permeate, which is made from by-products of the cheese making process, IdaPro MPP contains only what is found in fresh milk. Following filtration, IdaPro MPP is concentrated, allowed to crystallize under controlled conditions, and dried in a custom dryer.

Following filtration, IdaPro MPP Super-Kosher is concentrated, allowed to crystallize under controlled conditions, and dried in a custom dryer. IdaPro MPP Super-Kosher, also called “Cholov Yisroel”, has a high Kosher standard and is produced only under strict Rabbinical supervision from the milking process to the final finished product.
