Applications & Uses

Plastics & Elastomers Processing Methods
Uses
  • SperseStab 3030 is used in the light stabilization of engineering polymers, including polyesters, PC, PA and styrenic polymers.
  • For coextruded polycarbonate sheet SperseStab can be used at concentrations from 0.20 to 10.0% while maintaining color and clarity.
  • For ABS and ASA concentrations between 0.2 to 0.6% are recommended and in combination with HALS to provide optical UV weathering.
Guidelines for Use

The product is recommended to use between 0.2% and 10.0% in engineering resins depending on applications. Combinations with HALS are particularly advantages in styrenic and PA applications. Formulations are dependent on the substrate, performance requirements, co-stabilizers and other factors. Please contact Interspersal Inc. for specific recommendations.
