T-I 20K is used as an emulsifier and stabilizer in flavor, personal care, and HI&I applications and is especially effective at forming stable emulsions when combined with sorbitan esters such as S-I 20K (sorbitan monolaurate). Applications where T-I 20K may be used include:

- To ensure product quality, T-I 20K should be stored in sealed containers at temperatures below 90°F (32°C). The shelf life for T-I 20K is two years from the date of manufacture.
