The amla tree (Emblica officinalis) originally comes from India and its fruits are used for a long time in traditional cuisine, medicine and cosmetics. Our amla extract is obtained from the fresh fruit with water as the only extraction solvent. It contains a minimum of 25 % polyphenols, of which a minimum of 10 % hydrolysable gallo ellagic tannins and 9 % ellagic acid. The extract is available as free-flowing granulated powder and it does not contain any excipients or carriers.
