Key Resin Key #805 Acrylic Sealer

Key #805 Acrylic Sealer is a pigmented waterborne acrylic resin formulated to create a tough UV and abrasion resistant film that protects concrete surfaces from moisture penetration, staining, dirt, wear, and provides a surface that is easy to clean and maintain. KEY #805 is used as a sealer for KEY POOL DECK SYSTEM and for sealing old and new polymer concrete floors, exterior ramps, decks, patios and sidewalks. KEY #805 is an environmentally safe material with quick recoat and easy clean-up after installation.

Applications & Uses

Key Considerations
  • Substrate temperature must be a minimum of 50ºF
  • Substrate must be free of dirt, waxes, curing agents,and other foreign materials
  • High traffic applications should be sealed with a clearpolyurethane topcoat such as KEY #450 URETHANE
Application

Surface Preparation

Surface Preparation is the most critical portion to any successful resinous flooring system application. All substrates must be properly prepared as outlined in Key Resin Technical Bulletin #1. Work must be performed by trained or experienced contractors or maintenance personnel.

Mixing Instructions

KEY #805 is applied by roller, brush, or lambs wool applicator. Care should be taken to minimize the entrapment of air caused by over-rolling. Two coats are recommended for sealing applications.

Clean Up

Clean skin, tools, and equipment with soap and water.

Maintenance

After completing the application of KEY #805, the installer should provide the owner with maintenance instructions. KEY #805 is easily cleaned with neutral soaps or detergents.
