Applications

Jalpon™ 1250 is a solvent free, modified gelled sulfonate in mineral oil. Jalpon™ 1250 offers lubricating and rust protective characteristics and can be used as an additive to grease and other extreme pressure lubricants. Jalpon™ 1250 can also be used “as is” for the protection and lubrication of moving and sliding mechanical assemblies such as fifth wheels, hinges, and gears. Jalpon™ 1250 exhibits synergy with sulfurized olefins and can provide better weld points and wear indices compared to the performance of sulfurized olefin or chlorinated paraffins alone thereby making it a viable replacement for chlorinated paraffins in metalworking formulations.
