Additions of K-Amide™ X-1040 at 5% to 8% by weight in soluble oils, synthetic, and semi-synthetic metalworking fluid formulations will improve lubricity, rust and corrosion protection, and viscosity in a variety of machining and forming fluids. The same additions of K-Amide™ X-1040 will also aid in emulsification of oil and water systems.
