Product Highlights
  • Thanks to freeze-drying, our chives have a longer shelf life, without making concessions to smell, color, structure and taste.
  • As soon as Euroma chives come into contact with cooking liquid or oil and vinegar, the herbs change back to their original round, green shape. They seem to have been cut right off the plant.

Applications & Uses

Uses

Used as a garnish in salads and soups. With its refined, fresh, onion-like smell and taste, chives give many dishes that little bit extra.

Preparation

Chives are related to the onion, but they have a much more refined and aromatic taste. Do not heat this herb, because then all the flavor will be lost. Therefore, add chives only at the end of cooking. In combination with eggs, potatoes, soups and mayonnaise, chives come into their own. Chop a little through your dipping sauce or herb butter or garnish your dish with it. You can also use chives to tie stuffed steaming packets together.
