Kydex® FST is formulated to meet flammability and smoke development requirements, (FAR) 25.853 paragraphs (a) and (d) and toxicity requirements for Airbus (ABD0031) and Boeing (BSS7239).

KYDEX® 6565 meets all fire retardancy requirements set forth in Federal Aviation Regulations 25.853 paragraphs (a) and (d) (old (c)) including low heat release (65/65) in the OSU rate of heat release test. High performance, thermoplastic sheet specifically formulated to meet low heat release requirements for aviation interiors.

Kydex® 110 is a fire-rated metallic sheet that is tough, durable and proprietary that brings new dimensions to thermoformers.

Kydex® 152WG is super-tough sheet brings new dimensions to membrane pressers in extensibility, rigidity, abrasion resistance and fire retardancy. Available in thirteen esthetically pleasing wood grain patterns; each substrate color is custom matched to compliment the wood grain cap. KYDEX® 152WG is rated Class I/A when tested according to the ASTM E-84, the Steiner Tunnel Test and V-0 when tested to UL STD 94.

KYDEX® 6200LTR is a cost effective alternative to FRP. Meets both the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Federal Rail Administration (FRA) for smoke emission and flammability when tested as per ASTM E-662 and ASTM E-162. A sheet that is SMP800C compliant in the mass transit that requires it.

KYDEX® 430 is available in a wide range of standard and custom colors, textures, and sheet sizes. It is Underwriters Laboratories, Inc® recognized for UL std 94 V-0, 5V and pass the ball pressure test per IEC 60695-10-2. Proprietary ABS/PVC blend developed specifically for the Medical industry.

KYDEX® 6185 meets FAR 25.853 (a) for use in aircraft interior parts. Maximum recommended service temperature is approximately 85 - 90°C (185 - 190°F) depending on thermoforming technique and application. KYDEX® 6185 is a proprietary thermoplastic sheet with improved heat distortion temperature (HDT) for higher in-service temperatures while providing excellent extensibility, good impact resistance and excellent solvent resistance.

KYDEX® 100 is available in a wide range of standard and custom colors, textures, and sheet sizes. It is Underwriters Laboratories, Inc® recognized for UL Std 94 V-0, 5V and has 961 J/m (18 ft-lbs/in) Notched Izod impact resistance. A high impact, fire-rated alloy sheet that is tough, durable, proprietary, that brings new dimensions to thermoformers.

KYDEX® T is less hygroscopic, it typically does not require pre-drying, offers superior impact, more uniform forming with less wall thinning and offers significantly greater resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals and cleaning solutions. A proprietary thermoplastic sheet that is cost-competitive with fire retardant ABS/PVC (FR-ABS) formulations but with significantly higher impact strength and extensibility.

Kydex® XD is a superior impact, membrane pressable thermoplastic 3D laminate with integral color from 0.76mm-1.02mm (0.030”-0.040”) thickness. A thermoplastic 3D laminate giving designers the ability to incorporate compound corners, logos and wire management holes, eliminating unsightly seams and the need for edgebanding typically associated with HPL/TFM surfaces.

KYDEX® V103 is Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc® recognized Std 94 V-0, 5V. It has thermoforming cycle times equivalent to FR-ABS. Suggested Applications Equipment Housings; Exhibits & Displays. A recycled grade of a proprietary thermoplastic sheet that is cost competitive with other grades of thermoplastic sheets while offering improved performance.

KYDEX® 6200 meets both the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Federal Rail Administration (FRA) for smoke emission and flammability as tested under ASTM E-662 & ASTM E-162. A proprietary, high performance, fire-rated thermoplastic sheet designed for use in mass transit vehicles such as subways, vans, busses and trains.

Kydex® 2200 LT is a cost effective alternative to FRP that offers the additional benefit of weight savings. It meets the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Federal Rail Administration (FRA) requirements for smoke emission and flammability as tested under ASTM E-662 and ASTM E-162. Additionally, Kydex® 2200LT meets the toxicity criteria defined by SMP800C and BSS7239. A sheet that is SMP800C compliant in the mass transit that requires it.

KYDEX® 5555 meets all fire retardancy requirements set forth in Federal Aviation Regulations 25.853 paragraphs (a) and (d) (old (c)) including low heat release (65/65) in the OSU rate of heat release test. It exceeds the heat release to a level of 55/55. Low heat release sheet that exceeds low heat release requirements for aviation interiors.

KYDEX® V is particularly well suited for hidden or painted parts since it has some degress of color variability. It is available in Black (52114), in thicknesses from 1.00mm (0.040”) and up and in a limited number of textures. A recycled grade of a proprietary thermoplastic sheet that is cost competitive with other grades of thermoplastic sheets while offering improved performance.
