Filtrez™ 591 A is an alcohol soluble, fumaric acid modified, rosin adduct with a high acid value and good solubility in glycol systems. Filtrez 591 A is designed especially for moisture set inks exhibiting fast setting and good press stability. Filtrez 591 A can also be used in pigment striking as an additive. The high acid value, low molecular weight and rosin nature can enhance the pigment’s receptivity to wetting.
