LRBG Chemicals USA Catalyst I-25

The standard amount of Catalyst 1-25 added is 10% of the total MU400 resin charged. Higher percentage blends shorten the pot life and cure time, while lower catalyst percentages lengthen the pot life and cure. The typical adjustment range is 7.5-15% of Catalyst I-25. Catalyst percentages below 7.5% are not advisable, due to longer cure times and slower bond strength formation. Percentages higher than 15% can be done, but would need to be evaluated by the customer. It is suggested that operations using High (Radio) Frequency curing use 10% 1-25 Catalyst in their blends. Higher catalyst contents may cause arcing and need to be evaluated by the user first.

Catalyst I-25 is packaged at 225 lbs. in fiber drums.

Catalyst I-25 should be stored in a cool, dry area. After each use, the fiber drum should be resealed to prevent catalyst degradation due to atmospheric moisture.
