LRBG Chemicals USA MUF 400PC is a light tan, free-flowing melamine-urea resin powder designed as an adhesive for hot-press or high-frequency wood bonding systems. When used correctly, it provides a waterproof bond and meets the requirements of the ANSI/AITC A190.1-1992 Standard for Structural Glued Laminated Timber. This resin is ideal for high-frequency, high-strength gluing of truck flooring, rail decks, and other laminated wood structures due to its fast cure and low arcing. For example, a 60% solids solution for saturation of glass cloth to provide good wetting characteristics can be obtained using a 95/5 water-butanol solvent combination. Various types of fillers can be used with the LRBG Chemicals USA MF 819 resin, and other additives and subsequent processing are dependent on the needs of the finished molding compound. It is a neat resin without any additives, fillers, catalysts, or releasing agents.

LRBG Chemicals USA RUFR 1006M is an off-white/yellow latex intumescent fire-retardant polyurethane coating designed as a primer coating for wood and engineered wood composites. When applied and dried, it creates a low-gloss protective primer coating. When exposed to temperatures above 200°C, it creates a multicellular protective char layer that shields the wood substrate beneath it from the fire. This system has excellent adhesion to wood composites and yields low flame spread and smoke development ratings. It may be crosslinked with low levels of polycarbodiimide or melamine/urea crosslinkers to achieve excellent water resistance in the surface coating.
