Schercodine™ C amido-amine is a naturally derived, cationic surfactant. It is an effective conditioner in hair and skin care products. It is 98% active as a clear liquid tertiary amine. It is used in pH 3.4–4.4 formulations as a quaternary ammonium salt conditioner. It is used to replace quaternary cationic surfactants in rinse-off conditioners. It provides excellent wet combing and wet sensory. Common protonating acids are lactic, aspartic, citric, and glutamic acids.

Store in closed containers above 65°F (18°C). Do not freeze. Material should be heated to 86-95°F (30-35°C) before use. Do not heat above 122°F (50°C) during the heating process.

Recommended retest period is 730 days from the date of manufacture.
