Schercodine™ S (Flaked) amido-amine is a cationic surfactant. It is an effective conditioner in hair and skin care products. It is a flaked, solid tertiary amine. It is used in pH 3.4–4.4 formulations as a quaternary ammonium salt as a conditioner. It is used to replace quaternary cationic surfactants in rinse-off conditioners. It provides excellent wet combing and wet sensory common protonating acids are lactic, aspartic, citric, and glutamic acids.

Silsense® DW-18 Silicone is a 100% active dimethicone copolyol ester. It is a water-dispersible liquid wax ester created by the reaction of isostearic acid with an alkyloxy-modified polydimethylsiloxane. SilSense DW-18 silicone is an easy-to-formulate product that may be used to impart the conditioning benefits of silicone to personal care products without contributing to the greasiness or buildup that is normally associated with water-insoluble silicone fluids.

Chemoryl™ SFB-10SSB surfactant is an alkyl and alkyl ether sulfate-free, DEA and MEA amide-free, mild, multipurpose surfactant concentrate formulated to yield a mild cleansing system with the addition of fragrance, preservative, water, and thickener. It is an excellent choice for providing very mild cleansing and gentle foaming in shampoos, baby care products, body washes, and other mild cleansing products.

Sulfochem™ EA-2SB Surfactant is a food-grade, preserved, vegetable-based surfactant for high foam in low pH systems. It is a 2-mole, naturally derived ether sulfate surfactant for use in a variety of personal cleansing products. It is recommended for use in shampoos, cleansers, and bath and shower products where high foam is desired.

Merquat™ 3940 polymer is a high-solids, non-paraben, ampholytic terpolymer compatible with anionic and amphoteric surfactants. It is suitable for use in liquid cleansing products, providing silky skin feel and moisturization in skin care formulations, as well as excellent wet and dry combing properties in hair care formulations.

Carbopol® Clear polymer is a versatile and unique polymer created to provide exclusive wet styling textures. It is a crosslinked homopolymer of acrylic acid polymerized in a preferred cosolvent system. It has been optimized to deliver outstanding performance in wet styling formulations. The ability to build high viscosity at lower polymer solids, extraordinary clarity, and extremely fast dispersion times make it ideal for wet styling applications. The polymer has been specially formulated to create distinctive textures by varying the polymer concentration. It shows good compatibility and synergy with Fixate™ Polymers.

Hydramol™ PGPL ester is a very mild and completely water-soluble ester. It offers excellent clarity in aqueous systems, making it suitable for specialty hair and skin formulations such as facial toners, makeup removers, and hair detanglers. It can also be used in bath and body oils to mitigate oiliness and contribute to blooming effects. Hydramol™ PGPL ester is soluble in oils and effective in reducing the greasiness of heavy formulations. It is also recommended for use in hand sanitizer gels.

Glucamate™ LT thickener is a naturally-derived ingredient composed of methyl glucose ether esterified with oleic acid. Glucam™ P-20 humectant is a naturally-derived, 100% active, propoxylated methyl glucose ether. It is one of the few naturally-derived cosmetic fluids that is miscible with water, alcohols, organic esters, and oils. It delivers humectancy with a lubricious, emollient feel in any product. In alcohol-based systems, Glucam™ P-20 humectant reduces the stinging effect alcohol can have on the skin.
