Rovene 6026 is a styrene-acrylic emulsion polymer that can be formulated in multiple coating and paint applications. It provides a strong film at room temperature for use in low sheen interior flat wall paints. This product allows the formulator to minimize the level of coalescent. Rovene 6026 can also be used in outdoor landscaping coatings due to the adhesion characteristics and compatibility with iron oxide dispersions.

Rovene 4100 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer recommended for use for boxboard coating, in some publication grade papers and in the adhesive industry. Rovene 4100 may be used in adhesive and paper coating applications where FDA clearance is needed. Regulatory Status Detailed FDA 21 CFR compliances are available upon request.

Rovene 6104 is a very soft, film forming vehicle that provides good water and rub resistance for flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes. Rovene 6104 can be used as the film forming component in overprint varnish formulations or as the sole vehicle for inks and overprint varnishes providing good gloss. The emulsion can also be used as the non-skid component in formulations. Because of the low glass transition temperature, Rovene 6104 has good adhesion to treated flexible films. Inks and overprint varnishes formulated with Rovene 6104 can be formulated with graphic arts industry standard products and additives.

Rovene 4180 is a low VOC styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer that provides the ability to compound at high solids and in multiple application areas. It is recommended for use in automobile underbody and protective coatings, landscaping mulch coatings, paper saturation, laminations, water resistance coatings, and specialty nonwoven/textile applications.

Rovene 6031 is an all acrylic latex designed for low VOC interior/exterior applications where high filler loading is required as as well as applications that required bake-ability.

Ecronova 6630 is an ambient cure all acrylic emulsion that provides good chemical and blocking resistance, high hardness and scratch resistance as well as good wetting of wooden substrates especially for furniture and industrial coatings. This emulsion is OH-functional (1.8%) and can function both as a one or two component system and is APE free.

Rovene 6121 is a low glass transition temperature styrene-acrylic polymer that offers flexibility during movement of the substrate and water resistance. Rovene 6121 also exhibits excellent tensile strength and maintains elongation properties when compounded with fillers.

Rovene 6204 is a 34% solids solution version of Rovene 6201 styrene-acrylic resin neutralized with ammonia hydroxide. It can be used as a pigment dispersant resin and as a modifying additive in inks or overprint varnishes. Rovene 6204 is a general use resin solution that is used as a grinding resin to produce pigment dispersions. The solution can also be used as an additive to modify certain properties of an ink or overprint varnish. The addition of Rovene 6204 will increase gloss, increase block resistance and improve resolubility on press. The solution can also be crosslinked due to the carboxyl funcationality of the styrene-acrylic resin.

Rovene 6202 is a solution version of Rovene 6201 solid styrene-acrylic resin neutralized with ammonia hydroxide. Rovene 6202 is a general use resin solution that is used as a grinding resin to produce pigment dispersions. The solution can also be used as an additive to modify certain properties of an ink or overprint varnish. The addition of Rovene 6202 will increase gloss, increase block resistance and improve resolubility on press. The solution can also be crosslinked due to the carboxyl functionality of the styrene-acrylic resin.

Rovene 6106 is a low viscosity but high solids letdown emulsion for paper and paper board substrates. The combination of the polymer design and high solids give inks formulated with Rovene 6106 very fast drying and excellent printability. The high solids, low viscosity, and fast drying characteristics are well suited for high speed gravure printing as well as flexographic printing.

Rovene 4076 is a medium-firm, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion recommended for use in architectural coatings and interior primers for dry wall application where low perm ratings are required. Rovene 4076 is designed to exhibit tight, continuous films providing the following performance advantages: moisture vapor barrier properties, superior cold temperature coalescence, and ASTM E-96 perm ratings of ~0.5.

Rovene 5044 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives. It is used in the formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives which are high in peel and tack, and thus require a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 5044 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of tackifiers.

Rovene 6103 is a soft, film forming vehicle that provides good water and rub resistance for flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes. Rovene 6115 is a hard, non-film forming vehicle that is neutralized with sodium hydroxide for flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes primarily for use on paper and paperboard substrates. Inks formulated with this emulsion exhibit excellent ink transfer as well as exceptional resolubility on press with low odor. Inks and overprint varnishes formulated with Rovene 6115 dry fast, clean up easily on press, and can be easily formulated with graphic arts industry standard products and additives.

Rovene® 6114 is a low glass transition temperature, acrylic polymer emulsion with improved oil & grease resistance. It is a very soft film forming vehicle that provides good gloss, excellent water and rub resistance, and non-skid properties for flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes. Rovene 6114 can be used as the film forming component in overprint varnishes or as the sole vehicle for inks and overprint varnishes. Because of the low glass transition temperature, Rovene 6114 has good adhesion to treated flexible films. Rovene 6090 is a functionally modified, water-based vinyl acetate copolymer latex. As a water-based release coating, Rovene 6090 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6091 to modify the degree of adhesive release. On its own, this fast drying, firm copolymer has excellent mechanical stability during application and provides a final coating with very tight release values. When combined with Rovene 6091, release values can be easily tailored to specific needs. Rovene 6091 is a functionally modified vinyl acetate copolymer latex recommended for use as a water-based release coating. As a water based release coating, Rovene 6091 is recommended for use with adhesives exhibiting a high degree of tack. Rovene 6091 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6090 to modify the degree of adhesive release. Rovene 6201 is an alkali soluble styrene-acrylic resin with a mid-range molecular weight supplied in a clear pellet form. Rovene 6201 is a general use resin for overprint varnishes, water based inks and pigment dispersions. Rovene 6201 provides excellent ink transfer and printability with high gloss.

Tylac 4193 is a soft, flexible styrene-butadiene concrete modifier. It may be used at low add-on to give strength, flexibility and water/ion resistance to cementitious systems. At higher add-on levels, Tylac 4193 provides a flexible cementitious water proofing membrane.

Rovene® 6124 is a styrene-acrylic polymer that offers a balance of strength and flexibility with excellent water resistance. Rovene® 6124 maintains excellent tensile strength when compounded with fillers.

Ecronova® 6620 is an ambient cure acrylic polymer with excellent UV stablity that is is recommended for exterior paints and plasters with low dirt pick-up.

Rovene 6133 is a styrene-acrylic emulsion polymer designed to work in a variety of coatings applications including interior, exterior, clear or pigmented. This polymer exhibits excellent water resistance, strength, and adhesion to multiple substrates.

Rovene 4049 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a medium hand with above average strength properties. Rovene 4049 is recommended for use in a variety of applications including specialty paper coatings, textile and nonwovens, adhesives and paper lamination where high water and grease resistance films with low moisture vapor transmission is needed. Rovene 4049 can be compounded to high solids using calcium carbonate, clays and alumina trihydrate. Sodium polyacrylic thickeners are commonly used to obtain the required application viscosity. These compounds dry rapidly and impart good tensile strength with excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates.

Rovene 6111 is a low glycol and VOC styrene-acrylic resin supported emulsion. It is a general purpose, hard, non-film forming emulsion for flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes. Rovene 6111 can be used as a letdown vehicle for paper and paperboard substrates that exhibit excellent hold out and high gloss. Inks formulated witht this emulsion exhibit excellent ink transfer and resolubility on press. Inks and overprint varnishes formulated with Rovene 6111 dry fast, clean up easily on press, and can be easily formulated with graphic arts industry standard products and additives.

Rovene 4002 is a medium-firm, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed to have good freeze-thaw stability and low odor characteristics, when used in trade sales coatings. When properly formulated, coatings based on Rovene 4002 exhibit tight, continuous films providing the following performance advantages: moisture vapor barrier properties, enamel holdout at higher PVC's than conventional latexes, superior cold temperature coalescence, stability to alkaline substrates and ASTM E-96 perm ratings of ~0.5.

Rovene 4176 is a medium soft, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that can be used with a variety of fillers and additives to customize the desired application properties. The dry film exhibits excellent toughness and water resistance. Rovene 4176 has found application use in carpet and cove based adhesives, as well as industrial coatings, flat architectural coatings and low moisture vapor transmission primers.

BarrierPro 4555 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer of low stiffness. It dries to form a soft but tough film. Its softness makes it excellent for water proofing where films must remain flexible at below-freezing temperatures. Rovene 6034 is a versatile polymer that can be used in multiple paint and coatings applications. It can be formulated for interior paints, outdoor landscaping coatings, or coatings for metal.

Rovene 6119 is a low glass transition temperature styrene-acrylic polymer that offers flexibility during movement of the substrate and water resistance. This polymer also exhibits excellent tensile strength and maintains elongation properties when compounded with fillers.

BarrierPro 4550 is a general purpose styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer of medium stiffness. It dries to form a flexible, tough film of high water resistance. BarrierPro 4550 can be compounded with fillers and other additives to form coatings for a variety of applications such as water proofing membranes, specialty paints and sealants.

Ecronova 6607 is a styrene-acrylic emulsion polymer that is a versatile deco paint binder featuring good adhesion, block resistance, hardness, and water and alkali resistance. These properties make Ecronova 6607 a practical multi-purpose option for gloss and matte, interior and exterior paints.

Ecronova® 6608 is an ambient cure, pure acrylic emulsion that incorporates excellent block and alkaline resistance and extraordinary wet adhesion with minimal water absorption. The product displays early water resistance and very good weathering, as well as a non-yellowing elastic film. This emulsion shows excellent adhesion to difficult substrates such as metals and plastics. This emulsion is APEO free.

BarrierPro 4551 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion with excellent strength properties, high resistance to liquid water and water vapor, high blush resistance and excellent adhesion to multiple construction substrates. BarrierPro 4551 has excellent stability with dry-add inorganic fillers and sets quickly into a low tack, high strength, water resistant film. BarrierPro 4551 is also a good base polymer for blending with other BarrierPro products to allow a membrane to be custom tailored to a specific strength and/or flexibility need.

Rovene 4106 is a carboxylated, styrene-butadiene emulsion that can be used to enhance gloss on coated printing papers and paperboard. It is recommended as a modifier for nonwoven and textile binders to increase strength and/or reduce tack as it has a very stiff or 'boardy' hand. It may also be used as an additive to a paperboard packaging barrier coat to improve stiffness and reduce blocking tendency.

Rovene 4021 is a self-crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a firm hand with outstanding strength properties. This latex is especially suited for various nonwoven, textile and performance coating applications. Rovene 4021 is an excellent binder where stiffness with toughness and water resistance is required. It also accepts high filler loads of calcium carbonate, clays and alumina trihydrate and still retains excellent tensile strength. Rovene 4021 has the ability to be crosslinked with external crosslinking agents, which will improve the solvent resistance of treated substrates. Rovene 4021 is recommended for applications in textile and needle-punch backcoatings and performance coatings. This hydrophobic emulsion is also recommended as a primary binder for industrial and household floor care and scrub pads as well as for bonding wet wipes, industrial wipes and filters. Rovene 4021 can also be utilized in performance coatings where adhesion to metal surfaces is needed.

Rovene® 6120 is an all acrylic polymer that offers a balance of properties within elastomeric roof coatings. Rovene 6120 can be formulated to meet or exceed ASTM 6083, Type 1. Rovene® 6120 exhibits adhesion to substrates, balance of stength and flexibility with excellent water resistance.
