Mascoat's family of protective, thermal and sound control solutions has been developed over the last 25 years through research &amp; development, scientific study, real world testing and customer input. We are a leading provider in insulating, anti-sweat and sound damping solutions. Whether you have a vessel with condensation issues, a storage tank that requires low energy costs and personnel protection from burns, or a vehicle that needs to reduce the amount of noise inside, Mascoat can help.
Each product is custom engineered to provide superior thermal and sound protection for the industrial, commercial, marine and automotive industries. Mascoat is an excellent alternative to conventional insulation and damping materials, including cellular glass, perlite, mineral wool, fiberglass, urethane and closed cell foam, and calcium silicate. Mascoat coatings are lighter than traditional insulation methods, reducing bulk in your structure. Their spray-application can reduce installation times and reduce manpower costs, keeping projects within budget. Best of all, since the coatings adhere directly to the substrate or primer, you will enjoy long-term protection of your equipment, no matter how harsh the environment.

Mascoat® 200UTC is a high-build, high-performance polyester urethane topcoat. It is designed to be used as a finish coat for our line of insulating coatings where long-term color and gloss retention is desired.

Mascoat® Industrial-DTI is a coating comprised of proprietary air-encapsulated particulates that provides a thermal insulation barrier, protects personnel and blocks corrosion all in one application. The coating is specifically designed to be a multiple-purpose coating solving painting and insulating issues.

Mascoat® Industrial-DTI

Mascoat® 250P is a high solids aluminum epoxy mastic primer that provides excellent corrosion protection over marginally clean substrates up to 250°F. It is intended for use under Mascoat’s insulating coatings, but can also be top-coated with epoxies and/ or polyurethanes. It is predominantly used on structural steel, steel tanks, barges, refineries, petrochem plants, power plants, railcars, pulp &amp; paper mills, and other facilities as recommended.

Mascoat® Transportation-DTA is a composite ceramic insulation coating that provides an insulating barrier, protects personnel and blocks corrosion all in one application. The coating is specifically designed to be a multiple-purpose coating, solving painting and insulating issues.

Mascoat® Transportation-DTA

Mascoat® 450EN is to be used under insulating coatings or conventional insulation in highly corrosive environments. It is designed to provide CUI protection per NACE SP0198. When used under insulation, 450EN offers outstanding resistance to wet &amp; dry cycling at high temperatures up to 450°F. The coating can be used on steel for offshore platforms, barges, refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, pulp &amp; paper mills, and many other areas as recommended. The coating can also be used to line steel tanks at a higher film thickness.

Mascoat® 450EN

Mascoat® 400DFP is a hi-temp dry fall silicone copolymer primer designed for heated substrates up to 400°F. The one-part coating’s dry fall properties allow it to dry to a powder within 10 - 20 feet from point of application, allowing it to safely be used in areas where overspray damage to nearby cars and equipment would be a concern. It offers maximum adhesion and corrosion protection even in limited surface preparation areas and does not require a heat cure. Engineered specifically for heavy industrial equipment, M-400DFP may be used on any service area ranging from ambient to 400°F for premium corrosion protection.

Mascoat® 400DFP

Mascoat® 600P is a premium, silicone copolymer high-heat coating effective on steel surfaces operating up to 600°F. The VOC-compliant coating may be used direct-to-metal or top-coated with a variety of Mascoat’s insulating coatings or topcoats, as specified. The product can be top-coated in 2 hours and put into service in just 12 hours.
