Maverix Mold Cleaner – G is a gelled product that clings to vertical surfaces, stays in place, and does not run down the tooling surface. It is a non-flammable cleaner that dissolves, encapsulates, and lifts all thermoset resins, epoxies, phenolics, urethanes, and thermoplastics from metal molds. The gel strips residue build-up from the tooling surface without attacking the metal.

Mavcoat® 524 Mold Cleaner is a special V.O.C. Free cleaner that contains no chlorinated solvents, CFCs, or ozone-depleting chemicals. The nozzle delivers powerful flushing steam to remove contaminants from mold surfaces. No wiping is necessary because the product evaporates completely while flushing away dirt, grease, and protection films such as Mavcoat® Mold Saver.

Maverix Mold Cleaner – L is the liquid version, which is also non-flammable and dissolves, encapsulates, and lifts all thermoset resins, epoxies, phenolics, urethanes, and thermoplastics from metal molds. The liquid form allows Cleaner – L to be used in dip tanks and parts cleaning operations.

Maverix Cleaner 8700 is a heavy-duty general-purpose cleaner and degreaser used to clean equipment, presses, hydraulic fluid, and parts. 8700 is concentrated so it can be diluted with water to meet the needs of any specific application.

Maverix Cleaner 505 is a strong water-based cleaner that strips wax-based release coatings from composite or metal molds. This is a good cleaner for removing the yellowish-brown build-up from composite tooling that occurs with repeated use. Cleaner 505 also cleans light films of styrene buildup. It is a concentrated, heavy-duty, water-based cleaner that dissolves and removes the build-up that occurs over time from the interaction of mold release and rubber curing during many hours of repeated cycles. It will strip elastomer residues and particles from the mold to yield a clean metal surface for sustained production.

Maverix Cleaner 303 is a strong solvent-based cleaner that removes wax-based release coatings from composite or metal molds. Simply wipe 303 onto the mold surface and allow a short contact time for the chemistry to break down the residues and wipe clean. 303 will not harm mold surfaces, even those with class-A finishes.

Maverix Cleaner 202 strips polymer-based, semi-permanent release coatings from composite or metal molds. It is a concentrated heavy-duty degreaser used to remove mold release coatings and pigment build-up from rotational molds. It is also used for general mold and part cleaning.

Mavcoat® CRW releases hardened concrete from all forms and formliners that yields clean, easy stripping without bugholes and stains. CRW is a concentrated product used in applications that require a stronger release agent in hard to demold situations. CRW meets California, OTC, and all other Federal VOC regulations. Mavcoat CRW will not separate, so there is no need to mix before use.

Mavcoat® MD-W54 is a semi-permanent water-based release agent for the most difficult compounds including AFLAS and other fluoroelastomers in complex molds.

Mavcoat® ND seals porosity of metal tools and accepts the mold release coating.

Mavcoat® MD-4 is a water-based, semi-permanent release coating for all organic rubber elastomers. It contains a novel binder system that adheres strongly to the mold surface and a unique lubricity additive that allows for good rubber flow throughout the mold. Mavcoat® MD-4 is a non-silicone ceramic-based technology and can be used to make food grade products because it meets 21 CFR 181.28.

Mavcoat® AD seals the porosity of composite tools made from polyester, vinyl-ester, epoxy, and all other resin surfaces and accepts the mold release coating. AD helps to improve the surface quality of finished parts even for class A finished molds.

Mavcoat® 527ML contains unique additives for high slip and is used for difficult-to-release parts in the most demanding applications. Mavcoat® 527ML is fast evaporating, solvent-based, and semi-permanent capable of releasing all thermoset composites.

Mavcoat® SR is a specialized semi-permanent release agent for the release of silicone, fluorosilicone, and organic rubber elastomers. Its unique chemistry cleans mold and maintains a lustrous surface.

Mavcoat® EP-524 is a water-based, non-silicone, semi-permanent mold release coating that yields excellent cosmetic finish. It utilizes our proprietary ceramic-based technology which offers high thermal stability and releases polyester, epoxy, vinyl ester and other thermoset resins.

Mavcoat® CDNA is a specialized release coating for molded parts that must be free of any residue because the finished parts will be painted or bonded to after molding.

Mavcoat® FR-2 will make it easier to remove any build-up on your flanges. Only a thin film of the Mavcoat® FR-2 is needed to prevent material from sticking in the flanges. Keeping the flanges clean and free of build-up will eliminate air bubbles from forming along the parting line.

Mavcoat® RT-44 anti-static coating can be added to your dry powder or applied directly to the mold surface. This will improve granite appearance and eliminate color swirling that can occur with some dry blended materials.

Mavcoat® NB is the “workhorse” and one of the best-selling odorless solvent-based products. It is designed for hand casting or high-volume automated production lines. It can be wiped on or spray applied with an airbrush. It is good for releasing all Shore A and some Shore D polyurethanes.

Mavcoat® RT-3 is a highly semi-permanent release able to withstand temperatures up to 1,300°F. This allows it to last much longer between reapplications and will allow you to lower the amount of mold release you use. Mavcoat® RT-3 is able to release all densities of linear and crosslink polyethylene resins.

Mavcoat® FGR-4 is a quick-cure, fast evaporating, semi-permanent mold release coating for the release of reinforced polyester and vinyl-ester resins. FGR-4 is a stronger, polymer-based release that works better for non-gel coated parts and can be wiped or sprayed onto the mold surface.

Mavcoat® MMR is the ready-to-use version of Mavcoat® GSMR so it does not require dilution. Mavcoat® MMR is a water-based coating used in high-volume production environments. Since it contains high-slip lubricity polymers, MMR yields superior release for parts built on mandrels or in compression and vacuum bagging operations. It is semi-permanent and will yield multiple parts with a single application or can be applied before every cycle in difficult demolding situations. It produces a glossy surface finish and releases all thermosets.

Mavcoat® XC-ES does not contain any solvents and provides the greatest release strength for all flexible polyurethane foam systems. Mavcoat® XC-ES will yield several parts from a single application.

Mavcoat® RH is a specialized product used to make rubber hose from rubber mandrels. It seals and releases the rubber mandrel upon which, rubber hose is extruded, wrapped, and cured in very long lengths of 1,000 to 2,000 feet. Mavcoat® RH cures on the mandrel and provides extreme lubricity so the entire length of hose is extracted in one piece. The diameter of the rubber mandrel can be any size, but typically ranges from 1/8” to 4”. The finished hose is used in many applications such as, hydraulic, industrial, and oil field.

Mavcoat® BR-2 is a water-based, “super-release” required when unconventional, stronger binder systems are used. It cures on the mold surface to provide a tenacious coating that withstands heavy abrasion during the molding cycle.

Mavcoat® EF-ND is the water-based version of Mavcoat® HVP-I. HVP-I is engineered for high-volume production environments that don’t need a strong release but still require a fast evaporating mold release with excellent surface wetting properties.

Mavcoat® GSMR is a concentrated, water-based coating used for mandrel-built parts that ease extraction of parts from mandrel because high-slip lubricity polymers reduce friction at the mold surface. Mavcoat® GSMR is concentrated so it can be shipped overseas and diluted with water at the manufacturing site. It yields superior release of all thermoset composite systems.

Mavcoat® HVP-E is odorless, solvent-based chemistry that releases all self-skinning urethane foam systems from molds made of steel, aluminum, epoxy, fiberglass, or urethane. The developed skin is uniform, demolds easily and with excellent cosmetics.

Mavcoat® STM is used to prevent uncured rubber from sticking to itself when rubber is stacked or coiled. Mavcoat® STM replaces messy talc and stearate-based dispersion. It is non-silicone, water-based, and clear. It does not contaminate the rubber or cause defects during molding operations.

Mavcoat® CRW-2 is a water-based, V.O.C. free emulsion formulated for the release of concrete, GFRC, GRC, and composite reinforced concrete from molds made of steel, polyurethane, RTV silicone, rubber, epoxy, and fiberglass. Mavcoat® CRW-2 will not separate, so no mixing before use is needed.

Mavcoat® DHSR is solvent-based chemistry that is nearly odorless and releases all rigid, closed-cell, polyurethane foam systems. Mavcoat® DHSR adheres to any mold surface such as steel, aluminum, epoxy, fiberglass, or urethane.

Mavcoat® TZ-4 technology is a water-based coating that releases all organic rubber. It is semi-permanent and may only need to be applied once per shift in some applications. Since Mavcoat® TZ-4 releases all organic rubber compounds, it will be the only release needed on the production floor.

Mavcoat® 265-T is a water-based release agent for frequent application during the molding of general rubber goods. Use Mavcoat® 265-T in applications that can use a lighter release where molds are sprayed more often.

Mavcoat® Roto is a semi-permanent release that has the unique ability to release all densities of linear and crosslink polyethylene resins. We guarantee no pock-marking (coining) on crosslink parts when using Roto. And most importantly, Mavcoat® Roto maintains product dimensions without warping the part no matter how much is applied.

Mavcoat® KCP contains unique additives for high slip and is used for difficult-to-release parts in the most demanding applications. Mavcoat® KCP is fast evaporating, solvent-based, and semi-permanent capable of releasing all thermoset composites. It is a quick-cure, fast evaporating, semi-permanent mold release coating for the release of reinforced polyester and vinyl-ester resins. Upon evaporation and cure, parts demold with a high gloss finish.

Mavcoat® MBH is a specialized technology for making Mandrel-Built Hose on straight mandrels. It can be used as-is or diluted with water. Mavcoat® MBH will release all organic rubber elastomers. The technology seals, releases and lubricates the mandrel, which is then tightly wrapped with rubber and cured. The coating produces a very low coefficient of friction, so extraction is easy, and the finished hose slides from the mandrel with little effort.
