Competitive Advantage

Quadrant Ketron® 1000 IM PEEK advanced unfilled polymers, in injection molded shapes, are ideal for machined back-up rings and v-seals. It has excellent chemical resistance and wear resistance across a broad range of operating temperatures and retains mechanical properties to its HDT of 320 ̊F (160 ̊C). Several specific grades are available, some incorporating glass or carbon fibers which significantly increase strength and stiffness with temperature. Other grades contain wear resistant additives that significantly increase the life of machined parts. The performance of Quadrant Ketron® 1000 PEEK in steam and hot water environments, combined with its ductility make it an ideal sealing material - both during installation and in use. Plus, it’s easily machined and has unrivaled chemical resistance compared to all other advanced engineering materials.
