MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL ECO A75I 2GP0000 is a black thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM) polymer recyclate with excellent resistance to weathering, chemicals, ozone, hot air, and hydrolysis. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including injection molded parts, extruded parts, coextrusion, seals, sealing lips, handles, racking/shelving, impact protection/shock absorbers, protection caps, soft touch elements, cable ducts, casters, profiles, and 2K components. It also has excellent adhesion to polypropylene homopolymer, polypropylene copolymer, polyethylene, thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM), thermoplastic olefin elastomer, and thermoplastic elastomer general. The service temperature range of this polymer is -40 to 125°C.

MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL ECO A75I 2GP0001 is a black Thermoplastic Vulcanisate (PP+EPDM) polymer recyclate with bio-EPDM, which has good weathering resistance, resistance to alkalis, ozone resistance, hot air resistance, and hydrolysis resistance. It is used for injection molded parts, extruded parts, and coextrusion and is suitable for applications such as seals, sealing lip, handles, racking/shelving, impact protection/shock absorber, protection caps, soft touch elements, cable ducts, casters, profiles, and 2K components. It has good adhesion with Polypropylene Homopolymer, Polypropylene Copolymer, polyethylene, Thermoplastic Vulcanisate (PP+EPDM), Thermoplastic Olefin Elastomer, and Thermoplastic Elastomer general and has a service temperature range of -40-125°C.

MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL ECO D40 2GP0000 is a thermoplastic vulcanisate polymer (PP+EPDM) in black color with polymer recyclate special features, suitable for automotive, building and construction, electrical and electronic, machinery, and furniture applications. Pre-drying conditions should be in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 70-80°C for 2-4 hours, with a maximum moisture content of <0.10%. Processing extrusion requires a melt temperature of 190-230°C and an indie temperature of 190-220°C.

ALFATER® XL ECO Highlights and Advantages: Alfater XL® ECO is a thermoplastic vulcanizate elastomer (TPV) based on PP recyclate and partially biobased EPDM. It combi- nes sustainability with typical properties of elastomers and the advantages of thermoplastic processability. Alfater XL® ECO is an economical and sustainable TPV solution for many technical applications that need flexibility.

The Alfater XL® ECO series completes the ECO product portfolio of MOCOM and is a response to continuously increasing sustai- nability requirements in the plastic markets. The formulation and production follows well established technologies under highest quality standards.

Alfater XL® ECO provides therefore properties well-known for conventional TPV (PP+EPDM). Processing is possible on standard machines with typical TPV technologies (e.g. injection molding, extrusion, blow molding).
