It eliminates stick-slip or table chatter by reducing friction between mating surfaces. Where ways are heavily loaded it provides film strength and excellent EP protection. This product contains metal wetting and adhesive agents that enable it to form uniform films that resist squeezing from way surfaces while the machine is not in operation. It is designed for the machining and grinding of virtually all metals, except magnesium, and is formulated without the use of chlorine.

MONROE VANISHING OIL 140 is an odorless, colorless, low-viscosity, petroleum solvent-based product designed for light-gage blanking, stamping, or forming operations. This product works well on ferrous and non-ferrous metals alike and is also highly suitable as a cutting fluid for glass and mirrors up to ½ inch thick. It evaporates rapidly, leaving a slight residue which in most instances may be painted over without the need for additional cleaning operations. A test application with the particular paint/coating in question is recommended.

ASTRO-CUT SYN G is a heavy-duty, oil-free, synthetic cutting and grinding fluid concentrate designed to offer good lubricity as well as excellent corrosion control on machinery and workpieces while providing a long sump life. As a concentrate, it appears as a blue-colored liquid and when diluted it turns transparent blue. This product may be used on a variety of metals, including steel, cast iron, and aluminum in operations ranging from grinding to turning to milling.

ASTRO-KOTE HF is a low-viscosity, oil-based, rust-preventative coating designed to protect ferrous materials from rust. It has a clear brown liquid appearance. This water-displacing product is intended to be used as received and it should not be mixed with water. It may be used to protect castings, cast iron, steel, and packaged parts from rust.

This product, when diluted with water, forms a translucent amber emulsion that offers excellent workpiece visibility, good lubricity, and superior cooling. It is designed for the machining and grinding of virtually all metals, except magnesium, and contains chlorine as an extreme pressure additive for greater lubricity. This product incorporates unique additives to prevent the formation of hard water soaps in systems with extremely hard water.

MONROE DRAW 500 EP-EM is a heavy-duty rinseable drawing oil. It has been formulated for use on difficult drawing and blanking operations and has excellent adherence and anti-wipe properties. This product is well-suited for fine blanking operations on ferrous and stainless steels. It performs extremely well on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals without staining or rusting.

Monroe Fluid Technology GLASGRIND 100 is an oil-free grinding fluid concentrate. This product contains wetting agents for superior cooling and corrosion inhibitors for in-process rust protection of machine tools and metal parts. When diluted for use, GLASGRIND 100 provides a stable, effective medium for the abrasive working of glass and all vitreous materials. This product has a polymer that prevents particles from recirculating through the grinding zone, causing them to agglomerate and settle rapidly. The fines settle in a slurry that is soft and easily removable as a result of this polymer.
